Methimazole side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 12, 2008. Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 154.1 lb, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: leukopenia, malaise, nausea , neutropenia, pyrexia. Methimazole dosage: 10 MG BID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
