Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 154.1 lb, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: leukopenia, malaise, nausea , neutropenia, pyrexia. Methimazole dosage: 10 MG BID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
