Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 153.9 lb, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood thyroid stimulating hormone increased, hypothyroidism. Methimazole dosage: 5 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LIPITOR, PROTONIX, CYANOCOBALAMIN, SOTALOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
