Methimazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 21, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with basedow's disease and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aplasia, caesarean section, congenital intestinal malformation, foetal growth retardation, gallbladder anomaly congenital, iris coloboma, microcornea, nipple disorder. Methimazole dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Methimazole side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 18, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with basedow's disease and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: caesarean section, coloboma, colonic obstruction, congenital intestinal malformation, foetal growth retardation, gallbladder anomaly congenital, haemorrhage, microcornea. Methimazole dosage: 20 MG, QD. Patient died.
