Methimazole Side Effects Report #5050492-2
Methimazole side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on June 21, 2006. Male patient was diagnosed with basedow's disease and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: caesarean section, congenital anomaly, developmental delay, exomphalos, premature separation of placenta, skull malformation, treatment noncompliance, twin pregnancy. Methimazole dosage: 40,000 MG (40 MG, 1 IN 1 D); 20,000 MG (20 MG, 1 IN 1 D) TRANSPLACENTAL MATERNAL USE. During the same period patient was treated with PROPRANOLOL, HALOPERINDOL. Patient recovered.
