Female patient, 36 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase abnormal, cholestasis. Methimazole dosage: 20 MG , BID. During the same period patient was treated with PROPRANOLOL HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, cholestasis, jaundice , pruritus. Methimazole dosage: 10 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with PROPRANOLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
