Methimazole side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 25, 2008. Female patient, 59 years of age, was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anti-hbs antibody positive, antinuclear antibody positive, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, cholecystitis, chromaturia. Methimazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HYZAAR. Patient recovered.

Methimazole side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Jan 26, 2005. Female patient was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholecystitis. Methimazole dosage: 10 MG ONCE DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, CARBAMAZEPINE, WARFARIN, PROPRANOLOL HYDROCHLORIDE, RAMIPRIL, METOCLOPRAMIDE, LANSOPRAZOLE, DIGOXIN. Patient died on 11/04/2004.
