Methimazole side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on June 21, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with basedow's disease and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aplasia, choanal atresia, congenital genitourinary abnormality, eyelid disorder, hypertonia neonatal, pilonidal cyst, premature baby, skull malformation. Methimazole dosage: 10,000 MG (10 MG, 1 IN 1 D) TRANSPLACENTAL MATERNAL USE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aplasia, caesarean section, congenital intestinal malformation, foetal growth retardation, gallbladder anomaly congenital, iris coloboma, microcornea, nipple disorder. Methimazole dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
