Methimazole side effect was reported by a Physician from HUNGARY on June 21, 2006. Female patient, child 1 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Methimazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, aplasia cutis congenita, bone scan abnormal, dysmorphism, premature baby, scar What is  scar, skull malformation. Methimazole dosage: 40,000 MG (40 MG, 1 IN 1 D) TRANSPLACENTAL MATERNAL USE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, aplasia cutis congenita, facial dysmorphism, muscle mass, neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, patent ductus arteriosus, premature labour, retinopathy of prematurity. Methimazole dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
