Methergine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 27, 2007. Female patient, 18 years of age, was diagnosed with uterine atony and was treated with Methergine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, cardiac failure, electrocardiogram st segment depression, hypokinesia, pneumothorax, tachycardia, troponin i increased, ventricular hypokinesia. Methergine dosage: 0.2 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. Patient recovered.
