Methergine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on July 07, 2008. Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Methergine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriospasm coronary, atrioventricular block complete, cardiac arrest , cardioversion, chest pain , loss of consciousness, resuscitation, sinus tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation. Methergine dosage: 0.125 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with OXYTOCIN. Patient recovered.
