Methergine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 17, 2007. Female patient, 25 years of age, weighting 173.9 lb, was diagnosed with postpartum haemorrhage, sepsis  and was treated with Methergine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, body temperature increased, complication of delivery, cyanosis, dyspnoea, headache , oxygen saturation decreased, postpartum sepsis, tachycardia. Methergine dosage: 0.2 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with UNASYN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
