Methergine Side Effects Report #5223738-5
Methergine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 17, 2007. Female patient, 39 years of age, weighting 146.0 lb, was diagnosed with postpartum haemorrhage, vaginal haemorrhage, prophylaxis and was treated with Methergine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure immeasurable, body temperature decreased, body temperature increased, complication of delivery, cyanosis, dyspnoea, mental impairment, oxygen saturation decreased, pallor. Methergine dosage: 0.2 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOTEC, OXYTOCIN, PENICILLIN G, PENICILLIN G. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Methergine dosage: 0.2 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOTEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
