Methergine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Jan 28, 2000. Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with uterine haemorrhage, abortion  and was treated with Methergine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebellar syndrome, coma, disseminated intravascular coagulation, uterine haemorrhage. Methergine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SYNTOCINON. Patient recovered.
