Methadose Side Effects Report #5353180-8
Methadose side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on May 25, 2007. Male patient, 48 years of age, weighting 177.9 lb, was diagnosed with pain , metastatic renal cell carcinoma and was treated with Methadose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, disorientation, hypertension, toxic induced encephalopathy. Methadose dosage: 20 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CELEBREX, PERCOCET, BACLOFEN, MINOCYCLINE, LEXAPRO, PROTONIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with pain , major depression, agitation and was treated with Methadose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, incorrect dose administered, lethargy, pulmonary oedema, suicidal ideation. Methadose dosage: 20 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CELEXA, ALPRAZOLAM. Patient died on 01/01/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, csf protein increased, csf white blood cell count increased, disorientation, dyspnoea, headache , lethargy, miosis, red blood cells csf positive. Methadose dosage: 40 MG, PO. During the same period patient was treated with VENLAFAXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activities of daily living impaired, confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, dysphagia, eye disorder, pupil fixed, sluggishness, tremor, urinary retention. Methadose dosage: 5 MG PO BID. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, agitation, blood creatine phosphokinase mb increased, blood sodium decreased, confusional state, electrocardiogram qt corrected interval prolonged, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, electrocardiogram t wave abnormal, electrocardiogram t wave peaked. Methadose dosage: 700 MG, DAILY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
