Methadone side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NORWAY on Apr 13, 2006. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with dependence and was treated with Methadone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, blood potassium decreased, convulsion, loss of consciousness, syncope, torsade de pointes, ventricular tachycardia. Methadone dosage: 185 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with ANTIRETROVIRAL TREATMENT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
