Female patient, 28 years of age, was diagnosed with weight control , acidosis, fluid replacement, hypoglycaemia and was treated with Metformin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, disorientation, hypoglycaemia, intentional overdose, lactic acidosis, metabolic acidosis, normal newborn, pregnancy . Metformin dosage: APPROXIMATELY 80 TABLETS 500 MG (TOTAL DOSE OF 39.5G). During the same period patient was treated with BICARBONATE, CHARCOAL ACTIVATED, CHLORIDE, GLUCOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
