Metamucil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 18, 2006. Female patient, 71 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with constipation
and was treated with Metamucil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain hypoxia, choking , fall , foreign body trauma, loss of consciousness, mydriasis, obstructive airways disorder, respiratory arrest. Metamucil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KLONOPIN, ZETIA, LEVOTIROXINA, ZYPREXA. Patient was hospitalized.
