Metamucil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 23, 2006. Female patient, 48 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with bowel movement irregularity and was treated with Metamucil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, colonic obstruction, gallbladder disorder, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, sensation of foreign body, vomiting. Metamucil dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
