Metamucil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CANADA on Sept 19, 2007. Female patient, 25 years of age, weighting 145.1 lb, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Metamucil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , hypersensitivity. Metamucil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INSULIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose fluctuation, chest pain , dysphagia, dyspnoea, flatulence, neuropathy, tremor. Metamucil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISON, ANTIBIOTIC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
