Metamizole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 21, 2007. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with arthritis  and was treated with Metamizole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, ecchymosis, gastritis haemorrhagic, haemorrhagic diathesis, mucosal haemorrhage, pneumonia . Metamizole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, DICLOFENAC. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, gastritis haemorrhagic, haemorrhage subcutaneous, haemorrhagic diathesis, mucosal haemorrhage, pneumonia . Metamizole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, DICLOFENAC. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, CEFIXIME CHEWABLE, CODEINE SUL, ACETYLCYSTEINE. Patient died.
