Mestinon side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SWITZERLAND on Jan 10, 2006. Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with quadriplegia, encephalitis periaxialis diffusa, parkinsonism and was treated with Mestinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypertension. Mestinon dosage: 10 MG; TID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with RILUZOLE, MADOPAR, BACOFEN, PRAVASTATIN, CONDROSULF, ASPIRIN, CALCIMAGON. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 121.0 lb, was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and was treated with Mestinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: affect lability, arthralgia, bradyphrenia, diplopia, gait disturbance, hypertension, joint range of motion decreased, product quality issue. Mestinon dosage: 80MG BID PO. Patient recovered.
