Mestinon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Feb 11, 2005. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and was treated with Mestinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysarthria, dysphagia, hyperhidrosis, muscle atrophy, muscle contractions involuntary, muscle spasms, muscle twitching, myasthenia gravis, renal cyst. Mestinon dosage: 30 MG; 3 TIMES A DAY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, AMARYL, METFORMIN, ATENOLOL, CHLORTHIAZIDE, GLIPIZIDE. Patient recovered.
