Mestinon side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 26, 2007. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and was treated with Mestinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, atrioventricular block second degree, bradycardia, dizziness postural, myasthenia gravis crisis, nodal rhythm, respiratory distress, ventricular asystole. Mestinon dosage: 60 MG;QID. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, AZATHIOPRINE, PLASMA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
