Mesna side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 02, 2005. Female patient, weighting 189.4 lb, was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma and was treated with Mesna. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral ischaemia, diarrhoea, hemiparesis, nausea What is  nausea, pyrexia. Mesna dosage: 500MG/M2 EVERY 4 WEEKS IV. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL, SYNTHROID, PROZAC, LIPITOR, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, TRIAMTERE, ATENOLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 69 years of age, weighting 143.0 lb, was diagnosed with cystitis haemorrhagic, prophylaxis, lymphoma What is  lymphoma and was treated with Mesna. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, hypersensitivity, pyrexia. Mesna dosage: 7400 MG, OVER 24 HOURS, INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with IFOSFAMIDE, CARBOPLATIN, ETOPOSIDE, ZOFRAN, DECADRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
