Mesalazine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Aug 08, 2005. Male patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with crohn's disease , convulsion prophylaxis and was treated with Mesalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cystitis, disease recurrence, epilepsy , loss of consciousness. Mesalazine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REMICADE, VALPROATE, PREDNISONE, PREDNISOLONE ACETATE, AMPHOTERICIN B, CEFAMEZIN, CEFMETAZON, ELENTAL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , bronchoalveolar lavage abnormal, crohn's disease , cryptogenic organizing pneumonia, diarrhoea haemorrhagic, disease recurrence, eosinophilia, inflammation, lung consolidation. Mesalazine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
