Mesalazine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CROATIA (local name: Hrvatska) on Mar 15, 2007. Male patient, 13 years of age, was diagnosed with crohn's disease
and was treated with Mesalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood fibrinogen increased, c-reactive protein increased, condition aggravated, erythema nodosum, gait disturbance, infective myositis, muscle swelling. Mesalazine dosage: 1500 MG QDAY. During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.Mesalazine Side Effects Report #4628530-8
