Mesalazine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NEW ZEALAND on Oct 19, 2006. Female patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative and was treated with Mesalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: antinuclear antibody increased, cryptogenic organising pneumonia, pleural effusion. Mesalazine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
