Mesalazine side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 21, 2005. Male patient, 57 years of age, was treated with Mesalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acquired diaphragmatic eventration, aneurysm What is  aneurysm, antinuclear antibody positive, atelectasis, autoimmune disorder, blood fibrinogen increased, c-reactive protein increased, connective tissue disorder What is  connective tissue disorder, cryptogenic cirrhosis. Mesalazine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MESALAZINE CONTROLLED RELEASE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
