Mesalamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on June 15, 2005. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 211.4 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease What is  crohn's disease and was treated with Mesalamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: headache What is  headache, pyrexia, rash What is  rash. Mesalamine dosage: 800 MG P.O. TID. During the same period patient was treated with METRONIDAZOLE, PROCHLORPERAZINE, AMOXICILLIN, FLUNISOLIDE, LOPERAMIDE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, DILTIAZEM, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
