Mesalamine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Mar 04, 2009. Male patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with crohn's disease
and was treated with Mesalamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriosclerosis coronary artery, influenza like illness, ischaemic cardiomyopathy, myocardial infarction, myocarditis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, bradycardia, myocarditis. Mesalamine dosage: (1000 MG) ,ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ANTIHYPERTENSIVE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: left ventricular dysfunction, myocarditis. Mesalamine dosage: 2000 MG (2 X 750 MG AND 1 X 500 MG (3 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METRONIDAZOLE, RULOFER, NUROFEN, ACETAMINOPHEN, CLINOLEIC, SPICEF. Patient recovered.
