Mesalamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Apr 09, 2008. Male patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative and was treated with Mesalamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: feeling abnormal, malaise, pyrexia, skin irritation, tremor. Mesalamine dosage: 2000MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
