Mesalamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Jan 13, 2009. Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative and was treated with Mesalamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis. Mesalamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MADOPAR, CODEINE PHOSPHATE, METRONIDAZOLE, OMEPRAZOLE, ACETAMINOPHEN, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
