Meropenem side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 05, 2005. Male patient, 64 years of age, weighting 174.2 lb, was treated with Meropenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, haemodialysis, nephritis interstitial, rash , renal failure acute. Meropenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COLISTIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood cholesterol decreased, blood creatinine increased, high density lipoprotein decreased, hyperbilirubinaemia, hypermagnesaemia, neutrophil count decreased. Meropenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMBISOME, CYCLOCIDE, DAUNOMYCIN, VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, FINIBAX. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, cardiac arrest , eosinophilia, nephritis interstitial, rash maculo-papular. Meropenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CUBICIN, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, TORSEMIDE, SINTROM, LANACORDIN, OXYGEN, LAMOTRIGINE, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
