Meropen side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Nov 10, 2008. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia , shock and was treated with Meropen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: thrombocytopenia. Meropen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DOPAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE, TAZOCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with decubitus ulcer, medical diet, cerebral infarction, prophylaxis, hypertension and was treated with Meropen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cardiac failure, haemorrhage, malnutrition, thrombocytopenia. Meropen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INTRALIPID, FULCALIQ NO, FULCALIQ NO, GRAMALIL, PARIET, RENIVACE, NORVASC. Patient died on 05/12/2006.
