Female patient, 87 years of age, weighting 77.16 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia aspiration, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Meropen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, hyponatraemia, somnolence. Meropen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HAKUNALIN TAPE, MODACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
