Meronem side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SWEDEN on Oct 31, 2005. Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with infection parasitic and was treated with Meronem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, candidiasis, cerebral infarction, duodenal ulcer haemorrhage, hepatic failure, multi-organ failure, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, proctitis, renal failure. Meronem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NEXIUM, DIFLUCAN, CYKLOKAPRON, BRICANYL, EGAZIL, SELOKEN, LASIX, ENOXAPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Meronem side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from SPAIN on Feb 13, 2008. Female patient, 36 years of age, was treated with Meronem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic failure. Meronem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SUMIAL, ALBUMIN, SEPTRINTE, DIFLUCAN, ACFOL, TARGOCID, ZANTAC, GANCICLOVIR. Patient died on 12/06/2006.
