Male patient, 16 years of age, weighting 105.0 lb, was diagnosed with leukaemia and was treated with Mercaptopurine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pancreatic necrosis, pancreatitis. Mercaptopurine dosage: 100 MG (50 MG X 2) ONCE DAY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
