Mercaptopurine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 12, 2005. Male patient, weighting 185.0 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease , neoplasm malignant and was treated with Mercaptopurine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, asthenia, diarrhoea, jaundice , malaise, nausea , pancytopenia, weight decreased. Mercaptopurine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASACOL, NEXIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, hepatic enzyme increased, jaundice , leukopenia. Mercaptopurine dosage: 125 MG, 125 MG , QD, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
