Mercaptopurine Side Effects Report #5612663-3
Mercaptopurine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 01, 2008. Female patient, weighting 37.26 lb, was treated with Mercaptopurine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, acute prerenal failure, blood bilirubin increased, blood culture positive, culture stool positive, dehydration, dialysis , diarrhoea haemorrhagic, fungus stool identified. Mercaptopurine dosage: 1700 MG. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, VINCRISTINE SULPHATE, DEXAMETHASONE, DIFLUCAN, FLAGYL, GANCICLOVIR, PROTONIX, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
