Mercaptamine Side Effects Report #5215547-8
Mercaptamine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Jan 03, 2007. Male patient, 14 years of age, weighting 88.85 lb, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Mercaptamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthropathy, haemoglobin decreased, skin discolouration, skin fragility. Mercaptamine dosage: 1200 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with CYSTEAMINE, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, PHOSPHATE, ALFACALCIDOL, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, CITRATE. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with MERCAPTAMINE BITARTRATE, MERCAPTAMINE BITARTRATE, INSULIN, INSULIN ISOPHANE BOVINE, SOMATROPIN, CALCIDIOL, EPOETIN BETA, SACCHARATED IRON OXIDE. Patient recovered.
