Mercaptamine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Apr 01, 2008. Male patient, child 8 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Mercaptamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: contusion, skin tightness. Mercaptamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with POTASSIUM BICARBONATE, BICARBONATE, ALPHACALCIDOL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, arthropathy, contusion, haemoglobin decreased, increased tendency to bruise, pain , skin discolouration. Mercaptamine dosage: 1200 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with CYSTEAMINE, ESOMEPRAZOLE, PHOSPHATE, ALFACALCIDOL, CITRATE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE. Patient recovered.
