Mercaptamine Side Effects Report #4929558-0
Mercaptamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Feb 10, 2006. Male patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Mercaptamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angiopathy, asthenia, biopsy skin abnormal, blister, blood calcium decreased, blood creatinine increased, cerebral ischaemia, clonus, complement factor c3 decreased. Mercaptamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MERCAPTAMINE BITARTRATE, MERCAPTAMINE BITARTRATE, CALCIUM GLUCONATE. Patient died on 11/09/2004.

Patient recovered.

Mercaptamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYSTEAMINE, LEVOTHYROXINE, GROWTH HORMONE RECOMBINANT, EPOGEN, ACE INHIBITOR NOS. Patient recovered.
