Mepron side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from CANADA on Oct 06, 2005. Female patient, 29 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with infection prophylaxis, pneumocystis jiroveci infection and was treated with Mepron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, aphasia , asthenia, erythema, glossodynia, lip pain, pharyngolaryngeal pain, rash , rash maculo-papular. Mepron dosage: 1500MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CLAVULIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with babesiosis and was treated with Mepron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dizziness , erythema, hypersensitivity, lip swelling, paraesthesia, pruritus, pyrexia, swollen tongue, throat tightness. Mepron dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMINS, PROBIOTIC, TRIAMTERENE, THYROID. Patient recovered.
