Mepivacaine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on June 15, 2006. Male patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with nerve block and was treated with Mepivacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , atrioventricular block third degree, bradycardia, cardiac arrest , cardiotoxicity, enzyme abnormality, hypotension, sinoatrial block. Mepivacaine dosage: 45 ML. During the same period patient was treated with AMITRIPTYLINE, CYCLOBENZAPRINE, METOPROLOL, NIFEDIPINE, OMEPRAZOLE, SERTRALINE, ASPIRIN, INSULIN. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 91 years of age, weighting 125.7 lb, was diagnosed with bursitis , nerve block and was treated with Mepivacaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiotoxicity, nervous system disorder. Mepivacaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRILOCAINE, AMBROXOL, OMEPRAZOLE, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM. Patient recovered.
