Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 27, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, weighting 200.0 lb, was diagnosed with sedation and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypotension, oxygen saturation decreased, post procedural complication, unresponsive to verbal stimuli. Meperidine dosage: 50 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, STARLIX, ZESTORETIC, GLYBURIDE, VICODIN, ARIMIDEX, NEURONTIN, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
