Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2007. Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 164.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , blood pressure systolic increased, culture wound positive, dyspepsia, dyspnoea, enterobacter infection, heart rate increased, hypotension, myocardial infarction. Meperidine dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Meperidine dosage: 30MG Q8MIN PRN INJ. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anxiety , back pain , confusional state, crying, disorientation, foaming at mouth, heart rate increased, muscle rigidity. Meperidine dosage: 10MG Q10 MIN INJ. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, blood glucose increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, heart rate increased, hypertension, loss of consciousness, oxygen saturation decreased, renal impairment. Meperidine dosage: 50 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with VERSED. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, agitation, blood pressure increased, confusional state, heart rate increased, respiratory rate increased, somnolence, speech disorder. Meperidine dosage: 50 MG,. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, PROMETHAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
