Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2007. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, dyspnoea, hypoventilation, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory rate decreased. Meperidine dosage: 12.5 -25 MG Q2H PRN IV. Patient recovered.

Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2007. Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, confusional state, dehydration, depressed level of consciousness, hypotension, pain , respiratory rate decreased, urinary tract infection . Meperidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN AND HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, fall , grand mal convulsion, hyponatraemia, postictal state, tongue biting. Meperidine dosage: 25MG ONCE IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anxiety , back pain , confusional state, crying, disorientation, foaming at mouth, heart rate increased, muscle rigidity. Meperidine dosage: 10MG Q10 MIN INJ. Patient recovered.

Meperidine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 17, 2006. Female patient, 18 years of age, was diagnosed with agitation, chills and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, bronchopneumonia, condition aggravated, confusional state, contraindication to medical treatment, fall , hyperpyrexia, respiratory arrest, restlessness. Meperidine dosage: 25 MG; ONCE; IM. During the same period patient was treated with PHENELZINE, PERCODAN, ERYTHROMYCIN, CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/01/1984.

Meperidine dosage: 50 MG,. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, PROMETHAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
