Meperidine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 31, 2006. Female patient, 26 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with respiratory depression and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , respiratory depression. Meperidine dosage: 100 MG/10 CC OD PR. During the same period patient was treated with TAZOCIN, METOCLOPRAMID, HEPARIN, FENTANYL EPIDURAL, DOMPIRIDONE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , respiratory arrest. Meperidine dosage: 15 MG DAILY IV. During the same period patient was treated with ATIVAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/28/2004.
