Meperidine and blood pressure systolic increased Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Meperidine Side Effects Report #5234499-8
Meperidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 08, 2007. Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 111.6 lb, was diagnosed with pain , infection  and was treated with Meperidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , blood pressure systolic increased, blood sodium decreased, convulsion, dyspnoea, eye rolling, gaze palsy, loss of consciousness, tremor. Meperidine dosage: 50MG 2 DOSES IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , blood pressure systolic increased, culture wound positive, dyspepsia, dyspnoea, enterobacter infection, heart rate increased, hypotension, myocardial infarction. Meperidine dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, blood pressure systolic increased, breath sounds abnormal, liver disorder, mental status changes, unresponsive to stimuli. Meperidine dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
